This is the personal portfolio of Mohamed Ben Taher (mohamedbentaher.com). It is a mostly static website, and it collects as little data as possible. This page explains exactly what is collected, why, and how to have it deleted.

Analytics: this site uses Umami, a privacy-focused, cookie-less analytics tool hosted on Umami Cloud. Umami records anonymous page-view events (page URL, referrer, approximate device type, and country derived from a promptly discarded IP address). It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint, and does not track you across websites. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties.

Contact form and email: if you contact me through the contact form or by email, I receive your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to reply to you and is never shared, sold, or used for marketing. Emails are delivered via Resend and stored in a standard Gmail mailbox.

Newsletter: if you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored so I can send you occasional emails. Every email contains an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes your address from the list. The list is never shared or sold.

AI crawlers and content use: content on this site is published for humans and is openly readable by machines. The robots.txt file on this domain states the applicable content signals for search indexing and AI training.

Data rights: wherever you live, you can request a copy of any personal data I hold about you, or ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing [email protected]. I will confirm deletion within 30 days. There is no account system on this site, so deletion requests typically cover email correspondence and newsletter subscription records only.

Changes: if this policy changes materially, the 'last updated' date at the top of this page will change. This policy was last updated on 2026-02-01.
